Real Information on Real Nutrition - Nutrition Clinic

Sunday June 2nd 1:00 - 3:00 

This is going to be the one clinic you really need to mark on the calendar to attend. We all train hard to be healthy, but just as important (if not more important) is the nutrition we feed our body to get the optimal health we strive for. Coach Pascal will be informing us on not only what foods we should take in, but also the quality of the foods (Organic vs. commercial). He will break down the purpose of Carbohydrates, Protein, and Fats and why all of these are not created equal. Paleo? Gluten Free? Grass Fed? Why and what this all means.   Pascal will also cover quick and healthy cooking suggestions for those, like myself, with long hours at work, family obligations, and of course CrossFit time.     Strength:  Hang Squat Snatch 3 x 3 @ 70% 2 x 2 @ 75% 2 x 1 @ 80% 3 x 1 @ 85%  ( Do not go any higher.  Be solid at the 85% for all 3 reps) MetCon:  4 RFT -Firebreather vested if you have one available.  Burpees jump to 6 inches above outreached arm x 10 Med ball Cleans (30/20, 20/14) x 15 Walking Lunge w/ball x 20 Auxiliary: 15 minutes to work on skill that you are not very skilled in.  AKA work on weakness.

    Strength:  Split Stance Shoulder Press 5 x 3 MetCon: If a log jam at rowers do Burpees till one opens up.  For Time Strict HSPU x 10 Row x 250m DL (275/185, 225/155)x 10 Box Jumps (30/24/20) x 10 T2B x 10 Row x 250m DL x 20 Box Jumps x 20 T2B x 20 Strict HSPU x 10 Auxiliary:  Slam Ball twist 3 x 20 DB Core Rows 3 x 20

    Strength:  "Big Jumps!"   Power Cleans 2 x 2 @ 50% Power Cleans 2 x 2 @ 80% (Ifyou can't power it, then squat clean it.) Squat Cleans 2 x 2 @ 95-100% MetCon:  5 min. to complete 400m run ME KB swings (32/20, 24/16) Rest 1 min. 3 min.
